PERÚ - Curiosidades/ Curious things

Mientras me voy 4 días a hacer el Camino del Inca, os dejo unas curiosidades peruanas y un vídeo que me ha emocionado:

- En Huaraz descubrí que los buses interprovinciales admiten cerdos vivos como equipaje.. Otra cosa es que el bicho de 80 Kgs acepte entrar en el maletero…

- Profesiones anacrónicas:  aparte de los habituales limpiabotas, en cada ciudad hay una calle con tipos sentados delante de maquinas Olivetti de los 70, escribiendo cartas y documentos varios para gente analfabeta..

- Sí, 25 personas pueden caber en una camioneta. Las he contado estando dentro.

- Siendo un país productor de café, en todas partes te sirven agua hirviendo y café soluble asqueroso. No lo entiendo.

- De las 4.000 especies de patatas en el mundo, en Perú tienen 2.300. Ya llevo unas cuantas probadas…

- Esta claro que en Perú el negocio que funciona son las agencias de viajes. Cualquier persona con un móvil y una mesa tiene una agencia montada (es igual que las inmobiliarias en España durante el boom de la construcción) . Esta mañana ha sido el taxista el que me ha propuesto su propia agencia para hacer excursiones cerca de Cuzco…

While I'm four days off to do the Inca Trail, I leave you some curiosities of Perú and a video that really touched me:

- In Huaraz found that interprovincial buses allow live pigs as bagage... Another thing is that the 80 Kgs animal accepts to get into the trunk...

- Anachronistic professions: apart from the usual bootblack, in every city I found a street with men sitting in front of Olivetti typing machines of the 70s, writing letters and various documents for illiterate people...

- Yes, 25 people can fit in a van. I counted them being inside.

- Being a coffee producing country, everywhere they serve boiling water and disgusting instant coffee  powder. I still don’t understand it.

- Out of the 4,000 species of potatoes in the world, Peru has 2,300. I've already tried a few...

- It is clear that in Peru the business that works are travel agencies. Anyone with a mobile and a table  becomes instantly an agency (the same as it was in real estate in Spain during the construction boom). This morning it was the taxi driver who proposed me his own agency for excursions near Cuzco...
