PERÚ - Cuzco y Valle Sagrado

Sabiendo que en los próximos destinos voy a dormir una noche en cada sitio, me sentí incapaz de retomar la ruta y dejar Cuzco… Con la mochila a la espalda y yendo hacia el bus, me dí media vuelta y volví al buen ambiente del patio del Hostal Pariwana, a disfrutar de mi libro, responder emails y hablar con la familia por Skype…

Hay sitios que es difícil dejar y Cuzco es uno de ellos. He pasado una semana (con el Camino Inca por medio), pero podría perfectamente pasarme un mes disfrutando la ciudad y alrededores.

Mi amigo Rafa me dejó en “herencia” sus billetes al Valle Sagrado, así que aproveché que mi bus no salía hasta la noche, para visitar las ruinas de Ollantaytambo y Pisac. Recorriendo el valle, lleno de restos arqueológicos, ciudadelas, templos y montañas enteras de impresionantes terrazas te das cuenta de lo grandioso que fue el imperio inca y de que Macchu Picchu sólo es la joya más famosa…

Knowing that in the next destinations I will only sleep one night in each place, I was unable to take the road again and leave Cuzco... Already with my backpack and heading to the bus, I turned around and went back to the good atmosphere of the courtyard of the Pariwana Hostel, to enjoy my book, reply emails and talk to my family on Skype...

There are places that are hard to leave and Cuzco is one of them. I spent a week (including the Inca Trail), but I could easily spend one month enjoying the city and sorroundings.

My friend Rafa left me in "legacy" tickets to the Sacred Valley, so I took advantage of the fact that my bus did not leave until the evening, to visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo and Pisac.
