PERÚ - Huacachina

¡¡Hace una semana no sabía de la existencia del oasis de Huacachina, pero definitivamente va a quedar en mi memoria como una de las grandes sorpresas del viaje!!

Yo venía de Paracas sólo con la idea de que la gente se paraba en Ica a hacer “sandboard” (surf sobre las dunas del desierto) y me apetecía probarlo. Pero cuando llegué con mi nuevo amigo holandés Gary y vimos la enorme piscina del hostal, rodeado de dunas gigantes y el “comité de bienvenida” de argentinas en bikini, nos miramos sin poder creerlo!! La noche de ayer, bailando sobre la barra del bar de la piscina con Gary y las niñas francesas, contribuyó a confirmar que me quedaría aquí más del dia inicial previsto…

Esta mañana, lógicamente he disfrutado de la piscina, de relax esperando al gran momento de la tarde: dos horas con el boogy saltando dunas como una montaña rusa natural y con las tablas de “sandboard” deslizandome a toda velocidad pendiente abajo… una experiencia increíble!!

A week ago I didn’t know of the existence of the oasis of Huacachina, but it’s definitely going to remain in my memory as one of the greatest surprises of the trip!

I came from Paracas only with the idea that people stopped in Ica to do "sandboard" (surfing on the dunes of the desert) and I wanted to try it. But when I arrived with my new Dutch friend Gary and saw the huge pool of the hostel, surrounded by giant dunes and the "welcoming committee" of Argentine girls in bikini, we couldn’t believe it! Last night, dancing on the bar by the pool with Gary and the French girls, just confirmed that I would stay here more than the expected initial day...

This morning, of course I enjoyed the pool, relaxing and waiting for the big moment of the afternoon: two hours with the boogy jumping dunes like a natural roller-coaster and with the board of "sandboard" sliding downhill at full speed... an amazing experience!
