COLOMBIA - Bogotá

Efectivamente, aunque el servicio de Iberia fue pesimo, me pasé las casi 10 horas del vuelo durmiendo, así que llegué a Bogotá a las 3 de la tarde y bastante descansado… ¡El recibimiento de Juanca y Alice en su agradable apartamento del centro y la deliciosa cena en casa de Enrico y Andrea ya terminaron de hacerme sentir como en casa!!

Pero desgraciadamente hoy he comprobado lo que ya me dijeron: ¡¡En Bogotá llueve todo el tiempo!! No ha dejado de llover en todo el dia, así que me he dado un paseo por el centro historico (La Candelaria) con sus casitas coloniales y visitado el Museo del Oro, con la magnifica colección de objetos precolombinos. Mañana, la Catedral de Sal.

Indeed, despite the terribe service of Iberia, I spent most of the 10 hours flight sleeping, so I arrived at Bogotá at 3pm and quite fresh… The lovely welcome of my friends Juanca and Alice in their nice appartement at the city centre, and the delicious dinner at Enrico and Andrea’s place made me really feel at home!!

Unfortunately today I had to see the truth of what I was always told: in Bogotá it rains all the time!! It hasn’t stopped raining in the whole day, so I had a walk around the historical center (La Candelaria), with it’s small colonial houses, and visited the Museum of Gold, with it’s amazing collection of preColumbian objects. Tomorrow the Cathedral of Salt.
